Henry I Penny ND (1100-1135) MS62 NGC, Canterbury mint, Edward as moneyer, S-1276. 1.44gm. Quadrilateral on cross fleury type. Three-quarters left facing bust, scepter before / quadrilateral with terminal lis superimposed on cross fleury, pellets in angles, beaded circle surrounds. Struck slightly off center, but bears significant eye appeal with gorgeous rainbow patination that is ignited by original luster. Tied with one other specimen
